Environment

Our space is unique. It’s small but mighty! The toys and shelving are primarily made of natural materials which create an aesthetically pleasing and calm space.

The materials are made available at the child’s level, always. The playroom is rotated frequently to keep excitement and engagement in the space. You won’t find many toys with flashing lights or loud sounds and the shelves are intentionally stocked with just a few toys to reduce overstimulation. Each toy in the prepared environment is carefully selected and can be used in a variety of ways.  This approach to play encourages creative thinking. The in-home space is cozy,  has beautiful large windows, loads of plants, and soft carpeting to foster a relaxing play environment.

“As a mom who worked full time running a preschool, it was important to create a space that invites children and their caregivers to immerse themselves in play. Gigglezilla Playgroup was created after deciding to close the preschool and focus on raising my beautiful boys. I still want to use the in-home preschool space in a way that’s meaningful; thus the birth of Gigglezilla Playgroup. My desire is to create an upscale and welcoming space where children have fun, parents socialize, and the lives of all are enriched.”
